    Ok help a guy out.
Forged in fire really turned me on to the kukri and my love of gurka cigars certainly helps.

I'd love a kukri knife not the machete style. Like 10 inches or near there.

I'd like to keep the price point around a hundred little more or less is fine. I'm looking for a good cutter and something that could handle being batton'd through stuff with out exploding.

Also I'd love to have a good Bowie for around the same price point, something with a real western style to it, brass guard would be a plus.

So what are your thoughts ?

Not sure if you want a 10" blade or 10" overall but I have a Tops from SMKW in my cart right now waiting to see if the price drops for National Knife Day on the 24th but if it doesn't, I'll just grab a 10% coupon by signing up with another email and settle for $150.

I was at the store last week and held the kabar and really liked it. It's half the price but I want something other than black.
