from this link.... Gun ownership | Is that a small arm in your pocket? | Economist.com

AN ESTIMATED 875m small arms are in circulation worldwide: one for every seven people on the planet. Nearly three-quarters of these are owned by civilians. And about 80% of those guns in civilian hands are found in just 30 countries, according to the Small Arms Survey, a research group. Although America accounts for 40% of firearms in civilian ownership, people put them to more deadly use elsewhere. The gun murder rate in Colombia and South Africa, for example, is much higher than in America.

I am simply ashamed of you people!

Only 90 firearms per 100 people. Hang your heads in shame! This makes us look like lieabouts, people!

Hoosiers, back to work. Time for us to pull the wagon to get that number up well above 100 firearms per 100 people.

Hmm. No Switzerland. I would like to see how they would rate. Their Schutzenfest has 1% of their population show up. That would be like over 3 million people showing up to Camp Perry.

Our very Country came into existance because we had the RIGHT to be armed. We owe our beginning to that very fact. The rest of the world wants to blast the United States as a "gun crazy" society, when WE understand the truth-be armed, or be subjects.
