I like the Elizabethan English of the King James Bible. I want my pronouns to be thee, thy, thine, and ye, of course in the proper tense.

The public school system has become a cancer in American society. Not only are they in failure academically, their perversion of anything that looks like successful traditional morals and truth has become scandalous.

I have three grandchildren who are straight "A" students in public school programs for the academically gifted. They are increasingly vocal about the need to eliminate the conservative views in this country, punish all capitalists, force "green" agendas, and replace the Constitution with a system where everyone is "treated more fairly" . They are also overly concerned with normalizing gender dysphoria.

Fifty years ago, advanced students were concerned with understanding all the intricacies of natural sciences, mathematics, engineering, chemistry, business and law.

Maybe, and hear me out on this, we could do a better job of emphasizing the importance of math/physics/chemistry AND not catering to backwards, arbitrary, and rigid ideas about how people express themselves.
