I breezed through the ammo section in Paoli's Walmart today. Saw they had 150 gr. Remington Core Lokt 30-30 marked for $9.97 per box. I took four boxes off their hands.

is the Core Lokt any good? when going into Walmart Yesterday to use the rest room I saw they had 308 for about $12.00 a box seems going rate is around $16.00 a box

$0.50 a round without a shipping charge is as good as I've ever seen 30-30 ammo. That's a great buy!

The Beech Grove WalMart still has some of left, but the price on the shelf still shows the regular price. Had to ask them to do a price check before I bought 4 boxes. There were 4 or 5 boxes left. Also Columbus had just received Federal 9mm 200 packs of brass cased ammo this morning. Makes you wonder how long it will take to sell through there inventory.

No. Tula is steel-cased ammo, but it doesn't have the sticky lacquer that tends to make steel-cased ammo unreliable.

It's not complete factory ammo, but Midway has bulk packed 338 Lapua brass made by Lapua on sale right now for $80 per 100 pieces. Normally it's $290 for Lapua brass in 338 lapua. I've always held off of this caliber because of the cost of reloading components, but this deal just got me in the game.

Walmart has put clearance prices on handgun and 556 ammo. I should have looked at the earlier posts to see what current pricing is, but from what I remember from last night. 9mm Winchester white box .15 a round. I think 45 was .30 a round
