Shows how much fraud there is in the system, and how much the companies are in favor of it.

Great post....and not even 100 words!

    Secession is long overdue.

Yes, the main focus should be on things that are good for the country and the economy but there are plenty of serious criminal witches that really deserve hunting in the spare time.
    This^^^

Lack of reliable and swift consequences just incentivises more of the same

(See: Selective prosecution and low/no bail for serious crimes)

Adjusting the search to include all fiscal years, purchases go back to 2016, but that's just Vista Outdoors.

Going to all fiscal years, product type 30, and unchecking anything that doesn't specify ammunition/ammo, can see purchases back to 2005.
Granted, that was about $8,600 and 2006 was under $1000.
In 2007, we see a great increase in the number of IRS purchases of ammo.

So, why is 2022 really an issue?

    Here's the search I did:
    https://files.usaspending.gov/gener...esAndSubawards_2022-06-20_H18M42S47728834.zip
I don't have time to really dig through it at the moment.
What I would rather know is not only how many IRS employees need to be armed as a requirement of their job but also what the rounds per authorized employee number is

That would be a better indicator of level of derangement in the department
