seriously though ya gas prices are aweful. Almost like Trump might have made some phone calls to the companies and countries that set the pricing.

that said I own a Tesla, bought it in December when I saw the writing on the wall. I can’t afford to fight the trend bc gas is gonna see 5 a gallon by this time next year. See the boiling a frog in electricity thread for more on that can of worms

I just did Friday. Older socialist friends visiting, talking about where to get cheaper gas on the trip home. I told them they sealed that deal in November. There will be no reasonably priced gas until at least 2024, or maybe never if we can't insure free and fair elections.

Meanwhile, I'm paying over $6 ($4 of those are state tax) per gallon for diesel here.

I was seeing that one gentleman in TX with a variable rate power contract had to pay $900 to 'fill up' (charge) his Tesla - once!

I don't see any way even someone as stupid as Xiden could get gas prices to $64.29 per gallon ($900 divided by 14 gallons) but hopefully you see the danger in depending on a source of power for mobility that has no meaningful competition involved and is heavily regulated by .gov

The only thing green energy advocates seem any good at is making cheap energy expensive in order to make expensive energy look cheaper

Edit: Once electric automobiles are mandated, I hope you aren't naive enough to believe that anyone but US will be paying for the upgrades to the grid that will be required

Agreed. Plus my gas mileage started going up so I'm guessing the refineries are charging us for the "summer mix"

Fraud has been proven over and over and over. More importantly, that is just what was caught. Indicators of much much more.
