Gestapo is a contraction of 'Geheime Staatspolizei' or secret state police

The Einsatzgruppen were the early death squads first used in Poland, it translates as operational groups or perhaps mission groups

They were later identified as 'mobile killing groups' I believe. They were responsible for mass murder in the field, almost exclusively of non-combatants
