Wise is pretty good - we use some of our stash for backpacking trips. We only order the dinner entrees - everything else you can get in bulk cheaper locally. Their stroganoff is a favorite. Chili mac, not so much.

Wise is tolerable. We always bought small "pearl" onions with us.
Added to freeze dried or dehydrated foods made them pretty tasty

Over a number of years of researching this topic, here's the best advice I can give you: study this chart-

    Survival Food Comparison

I was a Wise Foods dealer for a time a few years ago. They have a great program and as stated above their entrees are edible at a reasonable cost. IMHO they have been the most successful in the survival food market. They recently introduced 'Readywise', a new line of food.

I don't know a lot about the Legacy Food Storage line but they have come on heavy with their marketing related to nutrition and value, so, you have to look at them. I've not tasted their product, but I'm sure they'd be happy to help you with that.

Find the one you like and can afford. Buy a lot and rotate your stock.
