Here is a cool video from an Airbus A380 brake test on a dyno machine.

I sit about 100yrds from that dyno machine everyday! We make the carbon fiber brake disks and the steel brake disks, wheels, piston housings, etc that go on everything from F-18s to the A380 right here in good ole' Indiana. I still haven't been able to get a chance to go in during an RTO stop on the A380 brakes, but I've analyzed failures (my normal job here) and got to see the aftermath plenty of times. Fun stuff.

This is also the engineering center for the fuel controls and housings for many of the aircraft that are flying today. The production of those controls used to be here, but were moved to North Carolina a few years back.

I've been onboard an A320 when they were doing brake tests during an actual landing, with half a fuel load and only the test crew onboard those things can stop scary fast!!! Quite impressive and you can believe how long it takes to get that odor out of your nose!!!
