Just got one back from January this week.

Ive got a month in on mine but I expected this to take some time. Just like a few have wondered in this discussion, i wonder what will happen to the approved tax stamps if its overturned

Mine was a paid stamp. The free ones say "approved with conditions "

"These applications are being approved with conditions. The condition is that the firearm is pursuant to ATF Final Rule 2021R-08F. For approved firearms with this condition, you will want to make sure you are in compliance with the ATF Final Rule 2021R-08F"

As I understand it, there is no stamp. Just an approval. If there is no stamp, I think you have your answer.

I think we have covered this opinion. There are those that preach NEVER COMPLY but what exactly are they doing with their braced pistols? If they did nothing, they are now felons. Did they destroy their pistols? Did they get rid of the braces? Convert them all to 16" barrels?

I agree the rule is stupid and will likely be overturned, but I was not going to run afoul of the law.

I for one already own NFA items so I am already on the "ATF list". I figured....might as well get a few free tax stamps for guns I wanted to SBR anyway.

well i started the process on a trust. but withdrew my submission months ago. still a braced pistol.

Filed 2 Form 1 sbr's on 5/23/2023 and one was approved yesterday. I filed as an Individual.

I filed 2 on 5/24/2023, got one back on 7/10/2023, still waiting on the other one for some reason.

I have one just sitting. Others approved within 30-45 days.
