What a bargain! It would only take me a few hundred years to recoup my cost on that.I know a guy that bought one, only $150k.

It's a Dyna Products model SC-16. He can do 5 cords per hour if someone is keeping the logs loaded.Would happen to recall the brand? I’m looking at a few of them. Just trying to get an idea of any potential problems with any one brand over the other.
LOL... Look at you showin' some leg!!I like the TR-1, the only way we stay up with it is when my youngest is here from Atlanta. He helps me some with the wood gathering, but usually the View attachment 158862 View attachment 158863 gardener has him working on her landscaping projects.

Yeah, way too hot and it's mid September!Still too hot tho'
Damnit on the storm damage.Cut five trees from 12" popples to a big big oak this weekend. Storm damage at the cabin. Ought to last through summer for cooking wood.
Lost my biggest oak and biggest white pine. The pine was probably 36" across at head height. Lost dozens of trees. The oaks already had two years of oak worm and gypsy moths to boot. Lots of dead timber.Damnit on the storm damage.
how bad…??????
Oh shut the hell up!!!..... the logs don't look as good as the job Indyjohn does, ........
This Saturday is going to be the first one since spring that it will be right for manual labor in the woods. I won't get out until Sunday, important soccer game Saturday that I must spectate. My sophomore daughter plays on the Forest Park Ladies Varsity soccer team. They are 19-1 overall, playing for Regional Championship in Clarksville. The gardener kept her distance after I was done.
Same here with marking trees and just seeing what’s fallen over the summer. Too wet for the tractor and fields have corn on them so when he pulls off the field I’ll be working easier. Trying to drop stuff towards the field and pull it out with the ranger or the tractor.. have a couple of trees close to the house I want to drop too. I also have to move my wood boiler soon.. it is always something..This Saturday is going to be the first one since spring that it will be right for manual labor in the woods. Was she just along for the ride? Maybe the picture is misleading, but she doesn't look dirty, let alone skinned up, bruised or bleeding?
Good for you all if you got some work out of the young lady. If so, it will benefit her beyond most other learning.
