Since you're still learning and appear to want to be involved, here's an actual age related odd quirk of our laws. You're supposed to be allowed to carry a handgun at 18, but you can't legally purchase one until 21, and buying a firearm for someone else is an illegal "straw purchase"... So, how does one aged 18-20 legally exercise their rights?
I only point this out because as more people understand the complete absurdity of our gun laws then more people will start rejecting them. Most people when they first join the community have no idea how ridiculous all of it is. The more folks on the younger end of the scale see it, the better the future looks for all of us.
Definitely one of the weirder 'quirks' in the gun law lineup...when one really starts reading through the gun law lineup, one quickly realizes that they are not consistent, but rather end up being a hodge-podge mix of 'rules' that different individuals have come up with over the years. If one's not careful, and new laws are not consistent or in conjunction with other existing laws, new laws often look more bungled than they do beneficial!

Most likely his permit will be void immediately..grandfathering is somehow a thing of the past.
The bill didn't pass, only applicable with specific juvenile conviction, expost facto (sp?? after the fact) would apply here, I think.

He wouldn't have a permit to begin with, as anyone this would have affected would not have been eligible for a LTCH.

The verbiage is taken directly from the disqualifiers for getting the LTCH. Under 23 years old with a disqualifying juvenile conviction, one which would have been a felony had they been an adult. See IC 35-47-2-3 (h) (4)

That has long since been voided since all the posts on German guns, no self respecting geman gun collector would stock an American caliber.

9mm Parabellum, which literally means in Latin, prepare for war.

I have only confiscated one German gun from rhino, a SIG226 for which I was overcharged and had to clean out the peanut butter inside the slide.
