I like most fish, but flounder is probably my favorite. Scrod and fried catfish are also at the top of my list. I won't turn down anything from Jolly Roger's Seafood House in Port Clinton, OH.

While not quite my favorite, the fish I miss eating the most is smelt. Used to be a local restaurant that always had smelt on the menu. Got it every time I went there.

Now I can't find it being served anywhere.

Grilled and blackened Mahi Mahi straight out of the ocean is the best fish I've had. Out of freshwater it would have to be salmon straight out of water.

I prefer cowfish or pigfish myself. Chickenfish isn't to bad either ;)

Seriously though the only fish I really care for is smoked salmon

Fresh crappie, preferably through the ice followed by bluegill or cats from a clear, spring fed lake (but NOT through the ice). Nutt'n fancy. Flower, salt, pepper, and maybe some cornmeal if I'm in the mood for a little more crunch. Next morning it's scrambled Eggs and fish for breakfast. Boss, I'm gonna be late to work....
