Ever wonder how many .223/5.56 fit in a 50 cal ammo can?

Im kind of surprised. Was going to say 1200 bc that’s what I do. You must’ve given it a good shake often to fill the voids. Didn’t think another 100 would fit…and maybe some OCD liking 1200 vs 1300 rounds :)

Put 500 in an MTM plastic ammo can and add a full mag on top. Not too heavy and when you lug one to the range.....you got at least one mag.

While i have never gone to the range without a mag or ammo, I am approaching geezerdom so am planning ahead.

    Just in case

Clarify, the little ammo cans LOL.
Same kind F&S, RK at Menards sells ( same supplier? ) MTM nicer though.

The Baer? ones on sale at Menards were a decent savings. The Gettysburg have more support ribs around top edge.

Have one w my treestand straps, another w archey tab/armguard and calls. Yet another w EZY treesteps.

Handy but sometimes a bit too small.
But when loaded w heavy items ( ammo or steps ) they never get too heavy.
