Here in Peru I just thought the wash machine was out of balance.
The very first quake I felt after I moved to Indiana I was sitting at my home desk and the house started shaking exactly like the washer was out of balance. I was very confused because I hadn't noticed my wife doing laundry.

In the 1987 quake, I was at band practice at the moment sitting on the ground and it felt like someone grabbed my rear.

I wore a hard hat to school for Iben Browning's non-event.

My wife felt it at home. I was out at the time getting fuel in my truck. I didn't feel it. She sent me a text 1 minute after it happened...

87 quake I was in an inground pool and definitely felt it. Cracked a neighbors chimney and knocked pictures off the wall. Felt another somewhere around 2007 +/- a year or so.

I lived in an old log cabin built around 1830 that sat on boulders for a foundation back in 87.
It had the whole house bouncing and I headed out door.
I did not feel anything today though.

Felt it here in Martinsville, shook my desk I was working at. Last time I felt the house shake a 60 ft Hickory tree bit the dust next door.

I remember that one in ‘87, knocked a picture off the wall here.
I was tending bar in Wanamaker. Was afraid for a few seconds that I would bleed to death from a shower of broken glass.

Me and my buddy, sitting at the bar, then thought that a drunk crashed into the building.

The one in '87 I was between the branch I let go of and the ground when it hit in our area. So I didn't know it happened.

Today's I felt on the southwest side of Indy. I was upstairs in my home office and thought someone ran through the upstairs.
