I’ve liked the idea of an FN collector series for a while

If not that id love some of that sweet Vseven lightweight goodness.

I would say HK MR556… but since the A1 changed the looks so much it don’t really turn me on anymore.

Well, if the magical money tree leafs out...

7.62 piston AR, POF Revolution 18"

    LWRCI M6IC A5

    LWRCI 6.8 RAZORBACK

LWRCI REPRII NATO Elite, 7.62 carbon fiber 20" or a 6.5 Creed.

And decent glass for all of them.

    Hey, a guy can dream.

I'd have a custom LR308 (or perhaps 300 win mag), left hand, reciprocating bolt, polished, gloss black, all rails removed, bedded style wood furniture. I had pieced together a few concepts. I got the Gibbz side charge, but if I build another I'd rather have a reciprocating handle. If money was no object.

Not sure the focus of wanting an AR but if competition is part of it and money is no object you should check out Cobalt Kinetics

My LGS used to have those as rentals, now small sample size of 3 rifles but they all broke within 2 months. For that coin KAC , LMT or H&K are the choices IMHO

I have a 16" Colt upper on a CMMG lower that does everything I need it to do.
No reason for ME to have a 600 yard AR, I can't shoot that far anyway.

EDIT: I'd like an old school A1 for cool factor.

When we are done building or buying, we end up with just a very expensive AR style rifle.
So true but everyone needs an expensive hobby, right?

Although I was lucky enough to find a clean used BCM RECCE 16 years ago, I always wanted to buy a new Haley Strategic BCM or a LWRC. But, I'll just keep a look out for some trade-ins or consignments...it's worked in the past.
