I hear the prez likes dogsSounds like the dog may need a new home.
Can I give it to my neighbor?
all about trigger disciplineObviously the owner never taught the dog proper gun handling.
My girl would never shoot me. She loves me.
I've heard of it happening a few times. IIRC mostly in duck blinds or boats.I read about a similar incident several years ago. A hunter had rested his shotgun against a fence. The dog came nosing or pawing the gun. It fell and went off. I think that the hunter survived. I do not remember if the safety was on or if the dog could have disabled it. It is probably a good idea not to have a round chambered unless you are in control of the rifle or shotgun.
Not mans best friend!!!!!! Guess the owner shouldn't have skimped on the good food.
