I have several, almost 10, different, but the same, carry pistols.
Saying that, I have several that are exactly the same except frame color (even same optics), 5 or so, and then a group of 4 that are different grip lengths but the same pistols.
Am I the only one that has that many?
I have more pistols but not in my carry rotation. Just curious as to how abnormal I am….my wife says I’m really abnormal…… lol

I generally seem to gravitate to at least 3 of any specific gun that is in the carry rotation. In any case never less than 2 of anything I carry and I'm usually on the hunt for #3 by that time.

I like to have spares. At the peak of my CZ addiction, I was up to 21 CZs of various flavors, with about 19 of them carry capable. When I was carrying 1911s, I had almost a dozen set up for carry. Now that my focus has settled on classic Sigs, there are 10 set up near identically but in different flavors.

Fall and winter I carry my CZ P10F, the warmer weather I carry my Shield 45.
If I'm in the woods I carry my RIA 1911 10mm.
    That's my rotation so far.
I'm thinking about getting a Taurus G3x for warm weather carry to take the place of my Shield 45.

Summer and winter are different CCW. 4" Shield and 4.25 m&p2.0 respectfully. But I do like to have an exact spare of each.

sub compact, compact, and full size all in the same family. Prefer full size in almost all situations.

Not really. The only category I really have several options of is full size combat pistols.

A snubby is a snubby, a subcompact nine is a subcompact nine, a G19 size nine is a G19 size nine. I'm happy with my current CCW options and haven't seen a need to change.

I have experimented with carrying something different a few times, but always went back to my first gun, a gen 2 Glock 23.
I have a railed gen 4, streamlight, and holster, but I have a mental block knowing it's different. If I carry and shoot it more, I could get used to it.

Completely understand that. I think I’m going to start a year long journey and only carry two pistols in that year. A Sig P320 full size and a Sig P365 X Macro TACOPS. Carry just them for a whole year and nothing else……Who am I kidding? Lol

I have two Ruger LC9s pistols. One with white-dot sights, the other with Hi-Viz sights.

Hi-Viz is my current primary, white-dot is back up. I'm glad not to have two separate stacks of spare mags.

Only really one that I carry (CZ P01). smaller and larger identical siblings (RAMI and CZ97). Probably a dozen or two comparable alternates with the same basic manual of arms but only actually swap out for service/cleaning.

Probably have more than I should.
I have been carrying a P2000 for the last couple of years for warm weather and a USPc .45 in cold since I read that article about Carhartt coats stopping a 9mm bullet.
I'm definitely in that camp. More than what's needed but still occasionally find myself filling out another 4473
