Woman walking home from sauna in a nice neighborhood with her earbuds in notices a vehicle pull up beside her and motion for her to look behind her. She sees local homeless dude aggressively approaching her from behind. She throws down her phone, thinking he’s coming to rob her, and attempts to flee. He ignores the phone, grabs her ponytail, slams her to the ground, and starts beating her in the face.

A 60-something lawyer and his wife and son are walking home from the restaurant and see this. He pulls his concealed handgun and tells the assailant to get off of her or he will shoot. It’s unclear, but I think the assailant did back off a little, and the lawyer tried to help the woman, at which point the assailant knocked the lawyer down. The son intervenes, and the lawyer took a shot at the assailant but missed. The assailant did leave the scene. Lawyer followed him and relayed his location to the police, who arrested the assailant.

Pax drops the gun, offending driver picks it up and shoots Pax in the hand and the ass. Pax goes to jail for illegal possession of a firearm, and offending driver faces no charges.

26 year old woman with mental issues starts driving around Chicago northside, stopping to beat women pedestrians with a baseball bat. Also threatening them with her vehicle, punching, scratching, yanking hair out, etc. Depending on which article read, it was 6 to 10 female victims in 6 to 8 incidents On two different days. The cops arrived during the second incident whereupon she fled in her car, but when she drove through a stop sign they terminated pursuit. Good to know how to get the cops to stop chasing you.

Eventually victims provide a car license plate and description and cops arrested her at her parents house. Aggravated felony and other charges, $800,000 bond, and mental evaluation.

Family man comes home during day and finds dude riding FM’s bike in front of his house (came back to burgle again?). FM confronts dude, dude pulls knife, FM shoots and hits him in the leg. Dude threatens FM and his family while cops cart him off to the hospital.
