DeSantis is looking like a real all American presidential candidate. The man has my vote already if he runs for office.

I think you drastically underestimate the severity of the threat.

It isn't a matter of "accepting." They need only be tolerated to have the capacity to sink their fangs into the nation and poison it to death. They've already achieved the point that they're slowly starting to kill off every foundational principle of this country, dismantle traditions, and expel religion.

They do it through legalese. They achieve power over institutions and suppress/expel any opposition until the point that they have control over thought its self, anywhere that it actually matters.

If there was a supervillain targeted on attacking the constitution, it would be the marxist communists.

You know I read through this post and I had a bit of an epiphany. This doesn't strike me as far-fetched as it used to. Our country has been in existence for a roughly 200 some years and for a while everything was good and then we seem to be devolving into a country I do not recognize.

What it took for me to understand this was the related to something that I know a little bit more about then politics.

When I see what the last five hundred years of tolerating various Christian belief is done to Christianity to the point where it's hard the even know what one means when they say they are Christian I can understand what tolerating a bunch of various beliefs and thoughts and ideas can do. They can make something that was once The Shining Light on a hill Fade Into Obscurity
