Deleted Messages

About 8 years ago, I did something stupid when I need cash...I sold the first rifle my father gave me. The buyer sent me a PM and didn't comment in the WTS thread. With message limits, I deleted the PM and forgot his username. Does INGO have the ability to retrieve deleted messages? I lost my father recently and I would like to contact him to ask if he would sell it back. He would've messaged me 17 Aug 2012, thanks for your time.

First things first, you should list a WTB ad with the exact details of what you’re looking for/circumstances of sale and you might just get lucky.

No, the site doesn't archive private messages. That wouldn't go over well with membership if we could.

Thanks for the replies. I will take 76’s advice and make a WTB post and cross my ringers.
