While I understand that the mainstream media is shoving these types of stories down our throat to push an agenda ,this doesn’t look good.

allegedly, forcing a child to interpret is a violation of disability rights laws.idk for sure, maybe one of the legal experts around here would care to weigh in.

TLDR: deaf woman stopped by police, removed from car when it appears the officer got irritated about trouble communicating, cuffs woman and then tells the daughters that “one of you guys better talk some sense into her”.

    Could be anywhere
It doesn't say why she was pulled over...and she's obviously racist; the first thing she does is state she's black and the Floyd thing. That article is as poorly written as it could possibly be; all feelz no facts.

Maybe, don't break the law even if you're deaf and black.

What would you like the officer to do in this situation? He has a non-compliant driver that he stopped for a legal reason (I presume). The SCOTUS has said you have to get out of the car when told to by LEO, and the officer made that clear to her. There was no aggression out of the officer until she was resistant to being handcuffed.

So far as the interpretation is concerned, I understand what the attorney is saying regarding the ADA, but why not use a resource that is immediately present? This wasn’t interpretation in an interrogation or static situation to sit back and wait a half hour for resources to be put together.

Looks like someone is looking for attention and tossing buzz words around.
