    I'll go first. Changing our clocks has got to be the most ridiculous 'ritual' in modern times. Pick a time, anytime, set clocks and go. The sun doesn't care. The birds and the bees don't care. There is only so much light each day and it will be present regardless of our clock setting. If DST shows a shadow on a new moon, can we burn it at the stake?

    I've been clear that DST is somewhere on a spectrum of ritualistic, silly and asinine. Having said that, I live within a state that has made the decision to adhere to DST (Mitch!!!). I accept this. We should, however, be on central time. Or so says me if I were king.
