Current Firearms Policy - Indy Fuel Games

Anyone have info on current firearms policy at Indy Fuel games? Their web page makes no mention of this topic.

Aren’t firearms prohibited at the Coliseum, and also at the fairgrounds?

Firearms/Concealed Handguns
Firearms and/or Concealed Handguns with or without a license are not permitted at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. If any guest arrives at the facility with a firearm or handgun, they will be instructed to return the weapon to their vehicle.

Unfortunately they started using walkthrough metal detectors and wands a few years ago.

Unfortunately they started using walkthrough metal detectors and wands a few years ago.

Thus ending my attendance at the games. It isn't so much while I'm at the game, it's driving to and from the game that I want to be armed. I wish venues could/would treat weapons similar to a coat check. Drop it off going in and pick it up when leaving. I don't anticipate needing a weapon while attending a hockey game. Driving down 38th though....
