Already on the way, shipped two hours after I ordered it. No doubt it will be suitable for the purpose, and the price just can’t be beat.

After reading your post, I tried to look up the battery life. Only info I saw were other forums posts saying 45 hours. I don't know if that's just internet banter or truth, but the lifetime of batteries is nice.

Reading the reviews, it seems like the two models are commingled. Hard to tell what’s what. The one with the green laser has an extraordinarily short battery life and a statement about degradation that makes it seem as though may not be suitable for high-recoil applications. Since I’m putting it on a .22 and I prefer green, I decided to try it. If it craps out, it’s only $60. I would probably go with the other, similar model for higher-recoil builds. It’s really curious the difference in list price, though. The red/green is almost double the list price of the red only.

For $60 I don’t expect perfection, but I can’t tell if this is a bit of grease or sloppy machining or what in the objective end of the sight I received. It doesn’t affect the performance but I wonder if this is normal:

OK, answering my own question here… My brother just opened his and it’s clean where this one is sloppy so it’s not normal. Or maybe it’s abnormal for them to be clean ;)
