    I guess it depends if you see as a tool or as a weapon.

    That deep carry clip design is nice for a tool, it won't catch on things and you won't lose the tool.

    For a fast deployable karambit you want the ring easily accessible (with your index finger from both hands) and sticking out of your pocket (like the grip of a handgun for a proper draw).

    Some people use a holster to fix that issue ...

    I think the OG Joe Caswell ones made in the USA were epic and its one of the few knives I regret not being able to pick up. That being said with CRKT's lackluster materials IMHO if I wanted a Karambit Emerson all the way.
