Where would a guy go around Bloomington to get the barrel threaded on a Hi Point 4595?

Im thinking about popping my NFA cherry with a .45 suppressor and I'd like to get as much use as possible so my plan was to get a threaded barrel for my 1911,buy a G21 with a threaded barrel,and have the carbine threaded too.

Check your Hi-Point's barrel: Most of the ones I've seen were Zamak tubes with steel barrel liners. I don't think zinc would take a good thread for very long.

Your carbine has an all steel barrel tube , if in doubt check it with a magnet. The finish is a very heavy powder coat and is somewhat soft .
