The AR is hard to beat as it gives you more of a chance to take multiple coyotes before they get out of range while you might be cranking a bolt action gun.

I've hunted with them, cuz bought my old Stag build and yotes with it.
I prefer better feeling rigs.

Gun or caliber?
Caliber - I still love the .223 for price and availability when things get normal again. I most often shoot .243 with lightweight bullets and it works great!!

I take a diffrent rifle depending on where Im hunting. If Im huting where I think Ill have a 500yd+ shot I take my 260.

If im hunting brush out to 400yds I take a plan jane ar with a 1-4 scope.

I shoot Ar's 204 close to town. 223 with night vision. Or 243 wssm with thermal.

222 rem rem 700. I guess I never left the late 1970's for varmints.

Same here! I mean I was only born in the 70's but my 222 was what I grew up with for groundhogs, fox, and coyotes. It's always been a great gun.
