I think the biggest problem Saturday may face, if he gets the job, is recruiting top shelf assistant coaches to join an inexperienced head coach.

Payton may very well make a good coach and I bet he would.

BINGO! He doesn't want to be GM either. A third of the teams in the league would take him as coach or GM…

Payton seems to be enjoying his life with all his smaller projects. He doesn't need the money so why would he want a high pressure/high failure rate job. Ownership fits him much better.

Seriously, there is no f'n way they can hire Saturday as HC. At there shouldn't be any way. He simply isn't ready. That's not saying he couldn't be ready some day, not now. I'd think there'd be a revolt in the building from VP's, GM, etc. And no way any seasoned assistants/ coordinators would want to come work under Saturday. At least not any remotely accomplished assistants. But, then again, Irsay sometimes can't find his way home.
