Just got back from Miami Beach and there was a little Cuban Café that had fantastic Cuban coffee. That was my first time having Cuban coffee. Awesome.

A lot of times the atmosphere and company make stuff like coffee and bourbon taste even better. I bet I'd like Cuban coffee. I have to think they know beans, roasts and brewing.

Not positive, but I thought Dunkin switched to Folgers as a coffee supplier several years ago. I have not taken the time to confirm.

Having forced myself to learn to drink "vending machine coffee" back in the late 70's (really awful stuff back then), just about any coffee tastes good to me now. I tried everything to make that stuff taste good back then, but nothing seemed to help, so I just said screw it and stuck with black.

Ok. I gotta know more about this “vending machine coffee”. You bring your own cup? Like the gas station coffee machines? How old was the coffee in there? Sounds awful lol

Nope. Put your money in, a smallish paper cup falls down and fills with a coffee-type liquid. Used to drink it when I worked at Carrier, and also at the bowling alleys I used to frequent. Not great, but better than nothing.

It had a reuseable filter, upon toggling with coinage a predetermined amount of cheap coffee was dispensed into the filter and hot-ish water was pumped through it into a paper cup. Sugar or powdered cream substitute could also be selected and added. Its only saving grace was sometimes any coffee was better than no coffee

Yep, this... but that is way more modern looking than the ones I used! And there weren't nearly as many choices. I think they were black, black + cream, black + sugar and black + cream & sugar.

Yep, that’s what the alleys and work all had. Probably just didn’t look far enough down the images.

Okay, I think there were additional buttons for "extra" cream and/or sugar too. I just remember that nothing helped, so I stuck with black and suffered through it.

I have been drinking Brewtality brand coffee lately. I really like the Guts and Glory blend.

Still kinda pricey but not as much as most of the other roasters of that kind.
