I first met Aron when he attended one of my classes in southern Indiana as a student and then I got to hang out with him when he and Cedartop and I attended the Rangemaster Tactical Conference in 2018. I really enjoyed Aron's dry sense of humor and his historical knowledge and his unabashed honesty. He was also the kind of guy who would make you think and was just a cool guy to hang out with. We shared a pretty bizarre experience practicing our Managing Unknown Contacts skills in a hippy bar in Little Rock when a homeless(?) guy basically invited himself to come to our table and take Cedartop's unattended chair and ask us to buy him beer . Good times.
Before he got sick we were working on him bringing me to his range for a class but sadly that never happened. I was really looking forward to spending more time with him but as we all know tomorrow is not promised. Prayers out for his wife and kids and family and for his friends because they have all lost something special. I'll see you on the other side Coach....save me a seat.
