    Hurst Shifters. If you really look at the product it was just a handful of simple linkage bits hung on the end of a chrome plated lever. Not as complex as a factory 3 on the tree linkage. From a manufacturing viewpoint, it was a pretty simple product. It is amazing how prosperous the company was. I remember them having a parade car and making a significant exhibition at the big drags. T shirts, posters, key chains stickers, etc. That had to cost a ton. I guess they saved money by not using a lot of cloth making Linda Vaughn's costume.
