Check with your local fire department. Our fire department here will do classes for non first responders, but it generally requires a group of six or more.

I 3rd Stop the Bleed. I have completed the class and it's a very good hands on class. And if I recall it should be free too.

I'm interested in having a "stop the bleed" class for my congregation because it's basic; free; and the group aren't comitted "training junkies".
There was nothing scheduled within 100 miles of my location. The website said "we're just starting to organize our class schedule"...it's August now. "nothing" IS free.
A class with MALC, MDFI, WPS, etc is worth the time and money...unless one is uncommitted and only slightly interested. Maybe the Red Cross has a similar class?
