I haven't used a chronograph in about 20 years. I'm thinking of buying a new one for load development.

How have they improved? Any features I shouldn't live without? Brand preference?

    Suggestions?

    Thanks

Had been thinking about a chrono for awhile. Just pulled the trigger on the prochrono dlx. Under $120 shipped to my door.

I hate putting anything in front of the firing line other than a target down range. MagnetoSpeed fits this requirement and has been flawless for me. YMMV.

I usually check my velocity at home so this isn't a problem for me. If you don't have a back 40 I can very easily see going with that kind of chronograph.

If there isn't an ever so slight risk to shooting your chronometer, it just doesn't feel right.

I've been thinking about a chrono for awhile. What i have is a Magnetospeed which is really cool because I don't have to deal with it being downrange on a public range.
