Whatever you carry, practice with it and get proficient with it. I'm a big fan of 1911s and my EDC is a 4-inch model. In a pressure situation the action of clicking off the safety will have to be second nature.

Best advice is to go to a gun club store range and spend the money to test every carry gun you can out, see what feels best in your hand and accuracy. CZ Sig Glock Ruger SW Springfield dan Wesson all great options and a lot at that. Personally I carry a sig p365 and p229. Looking for the right 1911 commando to carry, to through in the mix. I love the p229 just can get heavy IWB, just a fantastic gun for me.

My bad, didn’t notice it was a dead thread.

    No biggie.
    You participated in the thread.
You weren't just posting things like
    "1"
    "I agree".

I posted in old threads before.
One time was because something happened, and nobody followed up with the results. And I was wondering.
Many times because something happened, and we already had a thread dealing with it, so I added it to the old thread.

Haha yes I meant commander size should proof read my auto correct.

Starting to feel that this thread is coming back to life!
Just wanted to welcome you here since I have'nt done so yet. You are on the right track now and I think it's commendable that you are willing to take guidance from mods and a few other well seasoned members on how to get to your initial 50 quality posts.

You have shown a willingness to keep trying to get it right and not just ***** about it and I respect the effort. You'll get there.

    Carry on. :ingo:

We've had a LOT of "runners".
Guys who are only interested in the classifieds, but unwilling to put up the site supporter fee.
    So, they post things like
    1, here, post, and such.

Of course some don't realize, or don't care, that some members look at what a person posts, to see if they want to deal with them or not.

After seeing hundreds of people do that, some members have become a bit jaded, and maybe a little quick on the trigger of thinking a new guy is doing that.

Of course, sometimes those people are right.
And sometimes wrong, and chase off people.

Anyone remember people going after mom45?
    Yet, she's still here.
She just had questions to ask.

I got my 50 in probably 3 days.
When I had over 80, someone accused me of being a runner.
Except runners top at or near 50

I remember when mom45 was going through that initial barrage and a few did'nt take her seriously but she thankfully stuck it out and now she recently became a mod.

    Oh..I still think you're a runner. :stickpoke:

Never heard the term “runner” but makes sense. I see you have over 80k, looks like you have some mileage under you belt! It seems the only running you’ve done is help run the site “grandmaster” lol. I sure it in the site if I search for it but what do the titles mean next to the names?
