Any update? Still no metal detectors? I'm going today with the kiddos. As for a large beast attack, I'll have Underwood Xtreme Penetrators on deck, so that should do the trick, provided there is good shot placement.

Even if they did ever get metal detectors, the likelyhood they would ever hire competent security staff to operate and man them is unlikely

I went just over a week ago. No metal detectors, bag inspections, or even rude “no guns” signs.

Was at the zoo 7/7/18. I carried my S&W Bodyguard concealed with no issue.

Wife and kiddo at the zoo this morning. All self-provided security passed w/o issue. Plus drinks and snacks for our picky eater. Kiddo loved the macaques, macaws, and monarchs. I sense a theme is this family.

I went to the zoo last week with my daughter. Carried concealed with no issues. Had a great time and perfect weather.

No problem at all. Walked right in, only had to pass a booth with an attendant inside. No separate security. Conceal on.

My membership just expired last month, but I carried all the time. Never an issue. Conceal well and I think you'd be fine.
