Wondering if anyone familiar with Knight's Armament rifles would know much about this particular rifle? Model? Features? Approximate date of manufacture (I know that the KAC rifles have gone through a few evolutions)? Desirable model vs. more modern ones?

All I know is the following:

    16" barrel
    M-Lok handguard
    Suppressor mount
    Single stage trigger
Model is listed as SR-15 on the side of the rifle

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks,

Knight's non ambi lower and rail. Everything else looks non knights. Trigger, flash hider, gas block, etc. My guess is it was a stripped lower with someone elses upper on it. So it probably doesnt have the e3 bolt or barrel

I suspect that is not a Knights upper.
At one time I owned an SR15 just like the one that was for sale several months ago in the classy's.
Mine was a post ban rifle that had a flash hider attached over a non threaded barrel.

If I remember it was Tactically Fat that sold his for a large sum of money, made me wish I had hung on to mine.
