    Howdy guys, gals, and non-binaries,

It's been a while since I posted anything from my police-handgun collection.

Today's specimen was formerly issued to the California Parks Dept. This agency and the CHP usually order their handguns together from S&W.

The CHP has never engraved the state bear on their duty handguns, but the Parks Dept has. Not sure why.

If you guys like, I can post a video of me shooting the CHP qualification course with it.

I have seen these before on YouTube , honestly it sounds like it would be the "perfect" 3rd gen Smith IMHO except like most gun people I want it in 9mm instead of 40 :abused:

I have a 5903. It is a phenomenal shooter. The 4006 is a hefty piece; it's recoil is very comparable to its 9mm equivalent.

I like both calibers nearly the same, with a little more favor towards the 40. But to each his own
