I think the chances of this being an accident are virtually nil.

Yet another argument for "constitutional carry".

If any California gun owner/carrier suffers an injury or, Heaven forbid, is killed by a perp who got the information off this list released by this idiot, that ought to be grounds for a huge class action lawsuit. Not to mention, this p***k Bonta should go to jail and prosecuted for accessory to murder. This leftist rebellion of a right and proper ruling from SCOTUS out of NY and CA HAS to be stopped.

    Yeah. This was retaliatory.

His excuse is BS. Its easy to grant access to the database to researchers and public policy folks upon request.

    .
I think this move was just meat to throw to the keyboard warriors rather than real criminals. From the criminal perspective, robberies are a low risk and lucrative when you know the occupants are eloi. That said, it's really another example of bad, stylish, california leadership.

Yes. They got caught, so they took down the entire site. But the Cali AG is at best criminally negligent.

Major lawsuits brewing out here (already). Public safety has been compromised due to private information (names, addresses, firearm inventories, etc.) being disclosed.

Thousands of honest, moral, law abiding CA citizens know for a fact that they have been wronged by the state of CA. CA can claim any reason they want but honest citizens know by the timing that it was deliberate. Add the fact that the Supreme Court confirmed that we have been abused and denied our 2A rights in CA.

There is a separation going on in America, those who believe in freedom and the principles of the Constitution, and those who believe in evil principles of bondage and abuse.

The righteous and wicked can not live together in peace.
A house divided against itself can not stand.

But they outed more than just lowly private gun owners; the LA County database listed 420 police officers and 244 judges among those whose information was leaked Monday.

Lawyers will get incredibly rich, and CA taxpayers will, of course, foot the bill.
