Just saw this on facebook & have never heard of it before: Augson Farms Butter Powder . Any thoughts? Has anyone used it or anything like it before?

I bought some from a different company in a "25 year" sealed can that I don't intend to open. My thought was that even awful "kinda" butter is probably better than no butter if I'm down to eating rice, canned peas, and canned chicken fricassee for the coming weeks or months.

I bought a sealed #10 of salt for the same reason. I'm not planning on a table salt shortage, but, my survival gruel is going to be a lot better if I make sure I have some salt for it.

    .
Salt is an important thing to have.

I'll be curious to see opinions on powdered butter.

Powdered butter= well what we have tried it doesn't really taste like butter, but it isn't bad, we primarily use it in cooked dishes added dry then just adding a dash more liquid than what we are cooking, goes great in potatoes, mac and cheese , flapjacks too. We consider it a emergency item but had to try it too.
