I picked up an older .45 cal under hammer buggy rifle style muzzle loader a few weeks ago. Had the chance to shoot it this past weekend and it was a lot of fun! I haven’t had a traditional style muzzle loader in years so I was a bit nervous but the first three shots went into a pretty tight little cluster. It’s fun to shoot and recoil is light, so I’m excited to get my sons to shooting it. And my oldest is a lefty, so the under hammer has the advantage of being basically ambidextrous!
