So I have not tried Brave, but some questions for those who have?

Can you turn off BAT (Brave Attention Tokens)?

How do you fell about Brave blocking the ads from the site you are visiting, but placing ads they generate instead? Can these ads be turned off?

BAT and their ad network are how they make money from Brave.

If it’s free, YOU are the product they’re selling.

Well rats! I assume Firefox is based on Chrome or IE too then. It's not a dealbreaker, because really that's my only complaint with Brave so far. It does seem faster, and I like not having the ads show up in youtube videos.
Firefox is not based on chrome or IE.

The one annoying thing I cannot figure out in Brave is how to automatically switch to a new tab when opened. It always wants to open a new tab but not switch to it.

edit: ok, I figured out if I drag a link to a new tab it goes to that new tab. Still annoying that I cannot wheel-click and have it open the new tab in focus.
