If these people have it as bad as they claim, they should have sought asylum as soon as they were out of the country in which their lives were threatend and stepped foot in Mexico.

Let Mexico give them their asylum.

From what I'm hearing, most of them did. And got it. Which is why they are trying to enter illegally, they aren't eligible for asylum because they already got it in South American countries. Then those economies went down sour.

We have no obligation to let folks in simply because the economy in their **** hole country went to crap.

If they want to go to America, let them apply before they just come invading.

You're preaching to the choir. Not only do we not have an obligation, they do not qualify to apply as far as asylum status goes. They left their country after the earthquake, have gotten asylum in Brazil, Argentina, or wherever, and lived there for roughly a decade. At least, that's what I'm hearing from folks positioned to know more then what the media thinks they know.

This is basically my understanding. A lot of the recent Haitian influx were in Chile.

Just a way to demonize BP as racist thug cowboys hating on poor illegals.
Plus, Biden is not only a damned fool, he's also a damned liar. He seems incapable of the truth. OTOH, maybe he's just, as usual, parroting the lines handed to him by his woke handlers.

Maybe the next Border Patrol operator to be near a school shooting will just turn up the radio and drive away.
Hopefully they have the integrity to not even think of such a thing. This kind of comment just goes to show that putting on a badge is certainly not for everyone.

Integrity flows from the top. Dick your people over and don't be surprised when they decide not to stick their neck out doing more than the bare minimum.
