Legislative branch? We don't need no stinkin' legislative branch when we have EO's, activist judges and unelected bureaucrats to make the rules!
You forgot Administrative Law Judges, I don’t recall ever voting for one of those. But sure sounds official when you see there rulings on issues.

OK I do now see unelected duds.

    GWP reports:

“Joe Biden on Thursday announced that he will pardon federal simple marijuana possession convictions. However, this is being heralded as a political move as there are currently zero individuals in federal prison with solely “simple possession of marijuana” charges.”

    ABC News reports:

“The executive action will benefit 6,500 people with prior federal convictions and thousands of others charged under the District of Columbia’s criminal code, according to senior administration officials. Elaborating on the number of people affected, officials said, “there are no individuals currently in federal prison solely for simple possession of marijuana.”

There is nothing saying the states can’t make it illegal, what Indiana would do. It would take away the cash cow from to many counties that use ditch weed as a revenue source. I-65 at about the 220+ mile, SR-39 between Monticello and N. Judson. Basically anywhere ILL. tourists travel into Ind. The locals are aware, it’s been growing in these places for over a hundred years, one quart of round-up sprayed by INDOT would do it. But they don’t. $$$$

I don't know if anyone actually thought that there were people in federal prison for simple marijuana possession. Of course this is political. What isn't political in October of an election year?

Stoping the out of town folks when they stop to pick it then run them through the system. Bail bonds men, lawyers, fines, towing charges, the whole legal system. Locals are in on it, they report to PD, cops show up make the arrest start down the money trail. Been doing it for over 50 yrs. Well known secret. Different counties have different things. Try speeding through Benton county with ILL Plates at the 41-63 split. Same thing, different day.

The tourism reference is to one time or first time travelers, those that travel those roads on a regular basis have seen it or are on the way from point a to point b on a schedule. Like work, or drop off freight. The tourists are just the ones that suffer the brunt of the damage.

Next time you’re traveling south on SR-39 check out the road sides between SR-10 and SR-16

edit: not joking, just look don’t stop. Square business.

Totally poll driven. If this was such an important issue for Joe he could of done it on day one when he was signing all the other orders that screwed up our country.

And why isn't this being driven by the legislative branch of government? Isn't that where laws are supposed to originate and be changed?

    exactly.
I'm tired of 4 year term KINGS.

Doesn't matter. The pet media will spread the word, and NOT call him out on it.
