I was digging into some other topics and came across this, seems relevant give Biden’s thinly veiled threats against the American people. These are the non lethal s that were already deployed against DC BLM protesters but it remains unclear if they were actually used.
i doubt they have used them. or they didn't work. portland is still burning

As someone who got out less than 5 years ago I can assure you that the influx of new recruits is poorly trained and mentally equipped to deal with a real war. I went through training during the surge of Iraq and can give a list of things that they had stopped training during basic from the time I got in to the time I got out.

    1. hand grenades
    2.combatives
    3. Bayonets ( the bayonet isn’t really crucial for modern combat but the training and the mindset it creates it)
    4. CQB

Maybe I’m biased but the training I got in basic, AIT and pre deployment was top notch. We did all kinds of stuff that people I have talked to since don’t do even in combat arms. The “woke” and “PC” culture have destroyed this country’s military capabilities. The only thing holding it together right are a few crusty old E-7’s and E-8’s.

once they are gone in another 5 years what does that leave? A bunch of guys who’ve never seen combat and think corrective action is some words written on a piece of paper.
While it's disappointing to hear that they aren't teaching basic warrior skills like that, it really doesn't matter in the context of Biden's fantasy about the people overthrowing the government.

Anyone who understands from where the government derives its power (not its authority, but its power), also understands that fighting a conventional war against the military is not the way to conduct an insurrection. The military's technological superiority would be useless against asymmetrical attacks conducted on our own soil.

I don't believe that we are anywhere near fulfilling Biden's dream of killing Americans who oppose his socialist policies. However, if the political situation ever devolves to that point, forming large groups of revolutionaries to fight military forces would be foolhardy at best, as well as ineffective, counterproductive, and even suicidal.

It worked effectively for the Afghans against the russians...
