With a decent scope, and ammunition your stock 10/22 likes you should be able to shoot 0.7" 10 shot groups at 50yds with a stock 10/22 from a rest. Get a decent trigger pull weight, and possibly get it down to 0.6" 10 shot groups from a rest.
To get much better than that you'll have to spend a small fortune.

Just got my Brimstone trigger and if I didn't know better I would say it was a different one than I sent. 2# 6oz pull weight, just like glass! Scope and benched at 50 yards several at .29 center to center. Now to get the scope to center on bulls eye.

What distance? What ammo? Pics?

50yds off rest 2-7x Vortex Rimfire scope. Notice the Ely force 10 shot group 0.673"
On 7x power.

I think if I had a 12x 14x or 16x scope on it I could reduce all those groups a little more.

Good lord. The elitism is strong here.

We get it. the 10/22 isnt a precision tack driver that will punch oblong .23" holes in paper like "yours*" OOB. And will probably never reach that level of accuracy. They were never designed to do that.

So knock it off already.

If you want a "precision .22 rifle circle jerk" go make an Anschutz or Walther thread. Quit crapping on OP's thread.

Liked the Titan stock for bench, but wish it had more of a traditional grip to be usable as a hunter.
Honestly, the best feeling and looking 10/22 stock IMHO was the old "fingergroove" sporter.
Why the heck Ruger hasn't done a synth version of that I have no idea. Black, w checkering, rubber pad, and a stainless action/bbl.............that should have been the anniv model IMHO.

I've never handled one but still know I'd like it better than the current style.

My wrists are problematic and I find the vertical grip in general use to be uncomfortable.
Like the more gentle grip of a Ruger #1. But then those felt good to me before getting old/beat up.

Love the flush fit mag of a 1022.
Off and on I still think about building a sporter.

A 20" sporter bbl, no sights, on a repro fingergroove walnut stock, bedded, w aftermarket receiver.....gloss Leupold EFR 3 -9x.

Lot of $ for something id rarely use. Heck i have two .22 rifles now and proly get rid of one.
My tree rat hunting days are few and far between.

I’d like to hear what upgrades made the biggest difference on your Ruger 10/22. I’ve upgraded the stock and bought the “upgraded” Ruger trigger but would love to hear the best upgrades others have done. Or what upgrades made the biggest difference.

I took my 10/22 out to RangeUSA on Friday. Had a blast emptying all my 25 round mags at 20-25 yards. The bx trigger wasn’t horrible. I totally get having someone smooth it out though
