I light of the brace ruling, I converted a AR-9 pistol to a 16" PCC set up for my BIL so he can run competitions with me. The only thing I have not yet decided on is a red dot for it. I run a Trijicon MRO on my competition PCC, but I am not wanting to spend that much $ on this gun.

What are your favorite inexpensive red dots that would be suitable for competition?

I have two Sightmark reflex Mspec Mini Shots. Zero issues....so far.

Have had a Primary Arms 30mm and a Cyclops Gen 2 prism.
The 30mm was missing a detent when I got it, which I replaced on my own. Couple yrs ago.
    Worked fine.
The Cyclops purchased last summer, had reticle offset when zeroed.
Sent it back last week and got a replacement today, that has vertical ghost image.
    Bummer.

    Not having luck w optics.

But to hedge that bet, all electro optics from here on out will be Non Chinesium.

    I've got 3 of these:

One on a 10/22, one on an AR9, and one on my Marlin Camp 9.

They often are on sale for less than $100.

Romeo 5 has been solid for me. Picked mine up from Tim's here in Westfield for ~$110 a couple of years ago. Just changed the batteries once and haven't had an issue on a 9mm PCC.

Run Bushnell TRS 25 on a few ARs. 1 on a 450 bushmaster. Never any issues and can generally be had for around $50-60

I have a couple of these on long guns. Good value.
