Added some new hardware to 2 of my EDC. These are carried at 1030-11 o'clock opposite my gun hand. Easy for draw on either hand.

Top/Right: KaBar TDI Hellfire in Armatus sheath

    Bottom/Left: CRKT Obake

There are plenty of good knives out there, but I seem to always go back to this.

Unfortunately, I believe Benchmade may have discontinued H&K.

An "auto" is excellent for EDC IMO. Easy one hand operation. This one has a blade substantial enough for most every day tasks.

Big fan of the Morias. Certainly the most used knife during hunting season by myself and my kinfolk. For EDC I am assuming a folder of some type. I have benchmade, spyderco, kershaw, CRKT, and like all of them. I also frequently have either a swiss army, leatherman, or Gerber multitool handy. Currently its a CRKT ritual, which is too gaudy and big honestly but I had it out the other day and put in my pocket this morning as it was close at hand.

Haven't seen Protech mentioned. I usually carry a 3" Newport auto as it stays put in lighter comfortable Eddie Bauer type hiking pants. SV35vn steel, stone washed blade, good clip and recessed push button auto I like. Will buy more Protech, have others like Benchmade and Zero Tolerance.

I normally always have 2 on me my main one is a OTF from ravencrest and i absolutely love it have never had problems with it. Then i usually have either a fixed blade or just a simple flip open as a extra if needed

Used to be Schrade LB 5 (back before they were bought out). Great little lockblade knife and carried effortlessly. NIce rosewood handle that looked better with age. Never asked it to do more than it was designed for and it never let me down. Held an edge and served me well for many years. Then I went to a Leatherman PST ll only because of the versatility. Been carrying it for a number of years now, but still miss the LB 5 and pull it out of the dresser drawer occasionally just to fondle it and reminisce about old times with it.

Buy the best EDC for your budget... At first I loved my BUCK and Gerber knives.... Then I went to Kershaw for awhile... My two favorites are my Benchmade and my ZT... look for quality steal and invest in a good knife sharpener as well!! I would also suggest a dedicated fillet knife versus using an EDC to fillet your fish.
