I've carried a Kershaw Onion for 15 years or so...even lost it a few times...once I gave up looking and bought another one...but the original was again found...

Added some new hardware to 2 of my EDC. These are carried at 1030-11 o'clock opposite my gun hand. Easy for draw on either hand.

The meat crafter from Benchmade might work for you.

There are plenty of good knives out there, but I seem to always go back to this.

Unfortunately, I believe Benchmade may have discontinued H&K.

An "auto" is excellent for EDC IMO. Easy one hand operation. This one has a blade substantial enough for most every day tasks.

Big fan of the Morias. Certainly the most used knife during hunting season by myself and my kinfolk. For EDC I am assuming a folder of some type. I have benchmade, spyderco, kershaw, CRKT, and like all of them. I also frequently have either a swiss army, leatherman, or Gerber multitool handy. Currently its a CRKT ritual, which is too gaudy and big honestly but I had it out the other day and put in my pocket this morning as it was close at hand.
