    I've been extremely fortunate and only had one bad magazine in the last 25 years. It was a Canadian made Thermold, and I have not seen them for sale in a LONG time. No issues with USGI or any generation of Magpul. A few years back I got rid of everything except Gen3 magpuls and USGI mags, but that was personal preference and not because of a functional issue.
